OCA is committed to keeping our school community safe. Working closely with community partners and health care professionals, we have a plan to re-open school on our regularly scheduled dates.

Students and teachers will not be required to wear masks unless the Douglas County Health Department requires that we do so. Students, teachers, and other staff members who prefer to wear masks are encouraged to wear them.

In addition to drop-off and pick-up procedures, hand sanitizing stations, regular hand-washing, and temperature checks, we will be modifying our practices to be safe but not disruptive to the educational process.

We have a brand-new playground that we intend to use safely. Each family and student will have access to a robust online learning platform should the need arise to use it. Our former childcare program has been converted to a preschool model for the fall, expanding educational experiences for our littlest students while still delivering all-day care for working parents.

Above all, Omaha Christian Academy remains committed to providing an excellent Christian education for the families of the Omaha and surrounding communities.
